I'm having some trouble with my pc, around lunch time today it blue screened so I thought I'd turn it down to stock settings for a bit, it booted up fine but after about 15 minutes it blue screened again, and this has been going on since, and at one stage I wasn't even able to load vista before it crashed, so I reset the bios this worked and I was able to get into vista, for about half an hour then it blue screened again...

The New York Times list of "The 10 Best Books of 2007" came out a few weeks ago. As usual, no science books made the cut. In fact, since the list's inception in 2004, no science book has been included. This year, the Times introduced another list, "100 Notable Books of 2007." Even with a 10-fold increase in number, only one science book - Jerome Groopman's "How Doctors Think" (Houghton Mifflin, 320 pages) - made the list.
