Meet China's Hairiest Man

June 4, 2007 on 7:08 am | In bizarre | fisherwy.blogspot.com | digg it!

Yu Zhen-huan, who is the China's hairiest man, has 96 percent of his body covered with hair. The current Guinness record holders -- a pair of Mexican brothers Victor "Larry" and Gabriel "Danny" Ramos Gomez, -- have a record of 98 percent. Yu underwent ear surgery in Shanghai in 2004 to remove hair that caused him to lose part of his hearing. Yu, 30,  from China's Liaoning Province, has hair all over his body, save the palms of his hands and the soles of his feet. He has an average of 41 hairs per 1 sq cm (.16 sq inch), a condition doctors term 'atavism.' However, no other members of his family share his hairy problem.

According to a recent report of Sichuan Online, Yu, now a musician who've already published two albums, will soon tie the knot with a pretty girl once met online. Congrats!
